" Outstanding Speaker of the Year" and "Best Program of the Year" for Meeting Planners International's Washington DC (Potomac) Chapter. This is the largest chapter in MPI. Arnold was also selected as "Outstanding Speaker of the Year" by his peers at the National Speakers Association's Washington DC chapter.

  • General Session and luncheon speaker for various National Labor Relations Board meetings to groups such as attorneys, supervisors and office staff
  • Delivered a full day seminar for CDW a large computer reseller. The seminar focused on ways to persuade, motivate and influence others by building rapport, relationships and connecting with others.
  • Keynote speaker and follow up seminar leader for radio station managers, owners and sales directors focusing on, "Keeping Customers for Life", and "Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere ... Building Rapport, Relationships, and Connecting with Customers and Co-workers". This was for Forever Broadcasting (chain of 32 radio stations)
  • Keynote speaker for Phillips Seafood annual meeting. This is a chain of Sea Food Restaurants and worldwide fish buyers. My keynote presentation focused on persuading, influencing, getting along and communicating with customers and co-workers.
  • Presentation skills training for all presenters for British Telecom's annual meeting. Watched rehearsals of each presenter prior to their presentations and provided critiques and suggestions for improvement.
  • Keynote speaker for the Marin County California Realtors Association - My keynote was titled, "Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere ... Build Rapport, Relationships and Connect with Customers and Co-workers.
  • Delivered and facilitated a one day retreat for the customer service branch of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). The focus was on, "Building a WOW Member Experience."
  • Delivered back to back breakout sessions for Choice Hotels annual convention. The presentation was titled, "15 Ways to an Irresistible You".
  • Delivered keynote address for the annual meeting of the National Education Association's Membership Benefits Division. The keynote is titled, "Marketing Boot Camp ... Getting and Keeping Members for Life".
  • Delivered full day workshop 3 times for the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency on Customer Service, Personal Presence and Communication Skills.
  • Delivered After Dinner Speech and Breakout Session for the Sioux Falls Sales and Marketing Executives International. The focus of the talks were on "Marketing Boot Camp" and "Keeping Customers for Life".
  • Delivered an facilitated a 2-day program for the Environmental Protection Agency focusing on communication, emotional intelligence, negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ending speaker for the Florida Independent Schools Business Officers Annual Meeting. My presentation was titled, "Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere ... Build Rapport, Relationships and Connect with Customers, Co-workers, Family and Friends".
  • Delivered Keynote speech to Simonton (window and glass manufacturer and distributor) at their annual meeting for sales reps. The keynote was "Working a Successful Trade Show Booth by Building Relationships, Rapport and Connecting with Customers". In addition, I was hired to deliver a motivational speech the day before a National Trade Show.
  • Keynote speaker at annual meeting of the Hellenic American Women's Council. My presentation was titled, "Get Along with Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime ... Build Rapport, Relationships and Connect with Customers, Co-workers .. even kids".
  • Delivered and facilitated a one and a half day retreat for Full Circle Group representing Northface Outdoor Clothing Company. I worked with a dozen sales people to assist them in client relations, persuasion skills, personal presence and presentation skills.
  • Delivered 1/2 day seminars for TEC groups around the USA on, “Keeping Customers for Life” and “Communicate Like a Pro”. TEC is made up of CEO’s of companies ranging from 3 million to 1 billion in sales. Arnold Delivered about 15 sessions a year.
  • Delivered a 3 hour session on "Communicate Like a Pro" for the annual managers meeting of Long and Foster Realtors.
  • Delivered one day programs and one and half day retreats for various divisions of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The focus of this seminar/facilitation was on communication, getting along, teambuilding and building a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Delivered 2 - 1/2 day workshops for New England Satellite Systems, Inc. to assist them in customer relations and internal and external communication skills. In addition, I worked with the Marketing and Sales staff to focus on marketing/sales strategies and with the Leadership team on people issues.
  • Delivered 1/2 day seminars focusing on communication and negotiation skills for Forward Corporation's managers and key employees. Forward corporation is made up of convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants and motels.
  • Delivered one day seminar for the U.S. Department of Commerce on Presentation Skills and then followed up by videotaping and critiquing individual presentations.
  • Delivered full day retreat for a division of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) focusing on motivating the staff by working on communication, get along, and teamwork issues.
  • Delivered a 75 minute luncheon keynote speech for the annual business meeting of the Dewberry Companies (Dewberry and Davis) an engineering and architect firm. The meeting consisted of 200+ managers and the topic was "Boost Your Communication IQ ... Building Relationships Today, Next Week and Next Year".
  • Delivered Keynote for the 2nd annual Government Program Management Summit. The title was, "Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere ... Building Rapport, Relationships and Connecting with Customers and Co-workers".
  • Delivered Keynote presentation for the Virginia Association of Meeting Planners. Keynote focused on my book, "Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere".
  • Delivered full day training seminar focusing on communication, persuasion and influencing strategies for high level employees of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
  • Delivered the same 3 hour session 5 times to different districts for the Georgia Propane Gas Association. The session focusing on "Marketing - Building Business by Building Relationships" allowed members of the association to provide training to their employees without a lot of travel and expense.
  • Keynote Speaker for the annual franchise meeting of Precision Tune Up and Lube Shops. Focus was on building relationships and customer service.
  • Leader of a weekend retreat for Hess Construction Company to provide presentation and communication skills to assist them in building relationships and rapport with clients. In addition, we worked on presentation skills in relation to giving oral proposals to win contracts. Included videotaping and critiquing.
  • Delivered 90 minute keynote to Mid-Atlantic Cable Television Marketing Association on "Keeping Customers for Life ... Building Relationships Today, Next Week and Next Year".
  • Worked with Health Sport (a chain of fitness centers) to provide customer service/communication seminars to all staff, mystery shopping prior to the session, and then I Delivered a "Keeping Customers for Life" seminar to their membership.
  • Delivered seminar to Morgan Keegan, Inc. (Investment and Banking) on "Winning Presentation and Communication Skills" The focus was to train sales staff on how to make presentations to sell investment products to banks, state organizations and others.
  • Designed and Delivered the Keynote speech for Archer Daniels Midland's annual brokers meeting. The title of the presentation was "Building Relationships .. Today, Next Week and Next Year". I also coordinated and participated in a Meet the Pro's meeting at the conference.
  • Delivered 2 hour session for Ryan's family Steak Houses' annual District Managers Meeting. The topic was "Marketing Boot Camp ... Building Sales Today, Next Week and Next Year".
  • Delivered breakout sessions on "Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere" and "Teambuilding and Leadership for Sales Managers" for the Retail Solutions Providers Association.
  • Delivered 1/2 day session on "Customer Service" for Michigan Works.
  • Facilitated and led an all day retreat for the Law firm of Mayer, Brown, Rowe and Maw for their annual support staff meeting. The focus of the retreat was on communication.

  • Delivered and Facilitated a one and one half day retreat for a division of the National Institutes of Health. We focused on communication, getting along, dealing with conflict and building relationships.

  • Facilitated Board of Directors meeting on the Governance Issue of Values. I also facilitated a session on how the Board and the CEO can work together better. This was for the Andrews Federal Credit Union.
  • Delivered Keynote Presentation for "Quality Week" for Columbia United Providers. My talk focused on "Building and Keeping Relationships with Internal and External Customers".
  • General Session speaker for Pfizer conferences on, “Winning Presentation Skills”. I have also been a facilitator for Pfizer staff and doctors on helping them to build and enhance their presentation skills (videotape and critique).
  • Delivered 3 breakout sessions for the annual meeting of the American Bus Association’s annual meeting. Topics included, “Winning Presentation Skills”, “Marketing Boot Camp” and “Selling Yourself.”.
  • Delivered numerous presentations on customer relations, communication and relationship marketing at various National Association of Homebuilders meetings.
  • Facilitated a two hour meeting for owners of outdoor oriented businesses and retailers at the annual Outdoor Industry Association and Outdoor Retailer meeting on how to increase income and cut costs.
  • Delivered a seminar for the Doctors, staff and medical school students at the Medical College of Georgia on "Boosting Your Communication IQ".
  • Designed and Delivered a one day open seminar for Padgett-Thompson Seminars on, "Marketing Professional Services." I Delivered this session over 40 times across the USA for attorneys, insurance agents, stockbrokers, consultants, architects and other professionals.
  • Keynote speaker for the Medical Group Management Association’s annual meeting. My talk was, “Working with Emotional Intelligence .. Boosting Your Communication IQ”. In addition, I did a breakout session on “Marketing Boot Camp … Getting Business to Come To You".
  • Facilitated a 2-day retreat for the top executive team of NCI Information Systems, Inc. We focused on "connecting" with each other in a more positive way, what needs to be done to grow the company to the next level and a review of the strategic plan.
  • Designed and Delivered a 2-day course on Negotiation Skills for SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) through the EBW group. Based on the initial session, I will be providing this 2-day program to employees of SAIC throughout the USA.
  • Delivered the keynote speech for the annual "Smiles" campaign for over 500 employees of the Fairfax County Department of Taxation. The speech focused on customer service and communication.
  • Delivered a one day seminar 5 times in a row for all employees of the Coastal Health Department of Georgia. The sessions focused on Communication, Dealing with Conflict and Getting Along.
  • Keynote and Motivational speech for the Satellite Broadcasting and Communication Association. The title was, “Don’t Just Survive …Thrive!”.
  • Delivered breakout sessions on "Keeping members for Life" for the U.S State Departments' Credit Union. This focused on providing excellent customer service to the credit unions's members.
  • Closing keynote speaker for the AmericInn Motel Franchisees annual meeting. My closing topic was, “Marketing Boot Camp … Boost Your Bottom Line .. NOW!”.
  • Seminar leader for a ½ day session on “Marketing 101” for the National Association of Convenience Stores. This focused on marketing plans, strategies and customer service.

  • Delivered motivational and instructional seminar, "Communication for Leaders" and then facilitated a meeting to work on communication challenges within the organization. The client was PEPCO (Potomac Electric and Power Company).
  • Delivered a pre-conference 1/2 day session on "Winning Presentation Skills" for the Outdoor Industry Association and Delivered a breakout session on "Keeping Customers for Life".
  • Delivered a 1/2 Day session twice for all employees of Forward Corporation. The sessions focused on communication, customer relations and negotiation skills. Forward corporation owns convenience stores, hotels, gas stations and restaurants in the Michigan area.
  • Keynote Speaker for the annual meeting of the Association of Professional Nanny Agencies. My talk, "Keeping Customers for Life ... Building Relationships Today, Next Week and Next Year" was for owners of Nanny agencies throughout the USA.
  • Seminar Leader for over 20 sessions at the Embassy of Australia. The 3-hour to 1-day sessions focused on Communication, teambuilding, leadership and interpersonal relations.
  • Provided short seminars on “Keeping Customers for Life” at trade shows around the USA for the Document Management Industries Association. I also developed an online training course for them.
  • Delivered 2-day course for the US Department of Treasury on Communication, Facilitation and Presentation Skills. I have Delivered this course at least a dozen times.
  • Delivered a 2-hour motivational talk at the annual sales meeting of Comstor (computer manufacturer – subsidiary of GE) My talk was titled “Don’t Just Survive… Thrive”. They requested that I come in every month for a meeting with the sales team to provide 45-minute talks on strategies relevant to making more sales.

  • Keynote and ending speaker for the Bicycle Business Conference. My keynote was on “Keeping Customers for Life” and the ending speech was on, “Don’t Just Survive, Thrive”.
  • Keynote, Luncheon and Breakout session speaker at a number of meetings for Heery International (a design build, architectural and engineering firm) I have also been a keynote speaker for Greenvest, Inc. (land developer and realtor) and Garco (design-build and land developer). My topics have focused on marketing, communication and customer relations.
  • Keynote speaker and breakout session speaker for the ERA realty annual conference. I also was the keynote speaker for the Virginia Association of Realtors’ Annual conference. The title of the keynotes was, “Keeping Customers for Life” and the breakout was “Marketing Boot Camp”.

  • Keynote speaker and seminar leader for a CANUSA Inc. Worked with top managers to develop a marketing plan and specific strategies. I then facilitated a 3 - hour session on managing chaos, teambuilding, communication and building profitability.
  • Designed and developed a 3-hour program for the Marasco-Newton Consulting firm on “Building Business by Building Relationships.. Position vs. Compete”. This program on Marketing Professional Services was for their annual retreat.

  • Delivered speeches and breakout sessions for the National Association of Homebuilders at various national and regional meetings. The talks focused on Marketing and Customer relations.

  • Provided seminars for sales staff, office staff and service workers for CARR Realty. Delivered 5 sessions. Each group had a customized session focusing on communication, customer relations, conflict resolution and dealing with difficult people.
  • Designed and Delivered over 20 keynotes and breakout sessions for the Outdoor Retailers Association, Ski Industries of America and the Outdoor Recreation Coalition of America. All topics were related to “Attracting Customers, Keeping Them and Getting Enthusiastic Referrals”.
  • Keynote speaker for the Delaware National Guard for their annual meeting. Title of the speech was, “Boosting Your Communication IQ”.
  • Designed and Delivered a seminar for the annual retreat of the Washington Post's service workers on developing customer focused teams.
  • Trained all staff members of Handgun Control on “Winning Presentation Skills”. Workshop focused on persuasive speaking techniques. Critiqued and videotaped all staff members.
  • Designed and deliver customized 2 and 3 day Marketing Boot Camp programs based on my book. This real life "MBA" program provides practical and proven "how-to" information that can be used now and in the future. For example I have been giving 3 -day boot camps for the National Glass Association for the last 7 years. I have also Delivered keynotes at regional meetings for NGA.
  • Delivered a 3-hour seminar for the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce, Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and the Skokie Illinois Chamber of Commerce on “Marketing Boot Camp … Building Business by Building Relationships”. These were all major events with audiences ranging from 250 to 1,000.

  • Provided workshops to BDE engineering on Presentation Skills. The purpose was to help them be more effective presenters when going after contracts.
  • Delivered opening presentation for the annual meeting of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. The title of the presentation was "Keeping Members for Life ... Building Relationships Today, Next Week and Next Year".
